Definition
尕 is a dialectal bound morpheme (b.f.) used primarily in Northwest Chinese dialects (Gansu, Qinghai, Xinjiang) meaning 'small' or 'little'. It often attaches to kinship terms or nouns to form a diminutive or term of endearment, similar to 小 xiǎo but with regional flavor. It does not appear alone as an independent word.
