Definition
守信 (shǒu xìn) means 'to keep one's promises / be trustworthy,' focusing on reliability in word. Unlike the general verb 守 (shǒu 'to guard, abide by'), 守信 is used only for promises and trust. 坚守 (jiān shǒu) is stronger, 'to firmly stick to' a principle, often under pressure.
