孝顺 is the core cultural concept of filial piety — being dutiful and devoted to one's parents and elders. It's broader than 孝敬 (xiào jìng), which also includes giving gifts or material support to elders, and is unrelated to 本分 (běn fèn 'one's duty'), which is about fulfilling one's proper role in any context, not specifically family.
