Definition
妖孽 is a classical Chinese term that refers to supernatural bad omens or monstrous beings. It is often used in literature to describe unnatural phenomena believed to herald disaster, as well as the disasters themselves. In modern usage, it can be a strong derogatory term for a person who is extremely wicked or harmful.
