Definition
好看 (hǎo kàn) means 'good-looking' for people, clothes, or things, and also 'good/enjoyable' for books, movies, etc. For a man's appearance, 帅 (shuài) is more specific (handsome, cool). For media, 好看 is 'good' while 有意思 (yǒu yì si) is 'interesting' — they overlap but are not identical.
