Definition
奋斗 (fèn dòu) means to strive or struggle persistently for a long-term goal or ideal. It is more intense and goal-oriented than 努力 (nǔ lì, to make an effort), and less about physical combat than 拼搏 (pīn bó, to fight with all one's might). Use 奋斗 for life ambitions, ideals, or major undertakings.
