奈 is a bound form (b.f.) that appears primarily in classical or literary set phrases, most commonly 奈何 ('what to do? how?') and 无奈 ('cannot help but, have no choice'). It is not used as a standalone word in modern Chinese; you will encounter it only in fixed expressions that carry a sense of helplessness or rhetorical questioning.
