Definition
夸口 is a separable verb (离合词) meaning 'to brag' or 'to talk big'. The verb 夸 and the noun 口 can split when you add aspect markers, duration, or measure words between them — for example, 夸过口 ('have bragged'), 夸了半天口 ('bragged for a long time'). The object of boasting is usually introduced with 说 or a clause, not placed directly after 夸口.
