Definition
头 (tóu) has three common uses at HSK2: 'head' (body part), 'boss/leader' (informal, e.g. 我们的头 'our boss'), and a classifier for livestock (三头牛). For the 'leader' sense, 头 is more casual and colloquial than 领导 (lǐngdǎo), which is formal and used for official or organizational leaders.
