Definition
天庭 has two main senses. Literally 'heavenly court', it is a common term in Chinese mythology for the celestial palace where gods and immortals reside. It also refers to the middle of the forehead in anatomy and traditional face reading (相面), where a broad '天庭' is considered a sign of good fortune. Context determines which sense is intended.
