Definition
天宫 (Tiān Gōng) refers both to the 'heavenly palace' of Chinese mythology, the celestial abode of deities, and to China's space station (Tiangong), a modular space station in low Earth orbit launched in 2021. In modern discourse, it overwhelmingly denotes the space station unless the context is clearly mythological.
