Definition
多多益善 is a four-character idiom meaning 'the more the better'. It originates from a story about the Han dynasty general Han Xin, who told Liu Bang that when it came to soldiers, more is better (越多越好). Today it's used in any context where increasing quantity is seen as beneficial — employees, money, books, experience, etc. It's a fixed expression and does not change form.
