Definition
壮观 (zhuàng guān) describes something grand and spectacular in scale, like a building, view, or event. As an adjective it's similar to 宏伟 (hóng wěi) but focuses more on the visual impact; as a noun it means a magnificent sight, overlapping with 奇观 (qí guān) but less formal. 美景 (měi jǐng) is simply 'beautiful scenery' without the sense of grandeur.
