Definition
墓碑（mùbēi）指立在坟墓前刻有死者信息的石碑。它和纪念碑（jìniànbēi）不同：纪念碑是为纪念人物或事件而建的公共建筑，不一定与坟墓相关。与“碑”（bēi）相比，碑是所有石碑的统称（如纪念碑、墓碑、功德碑等），而墓碑特指坟墓上使用的石碑。
