Definition
坚强 describes a person's inner strength and firmness of character — the ability to endure hardship without breaking. It differs from 坚定 (firm in beliefs/stance) and 顽强 (tenacious, indomitable in the face of opposition). Unlike 倔强 (stubborn, obstinate), 坚强 is always positive.
