Definition
坐 (zuò) is the everyday verb for 'to sit' and also for 'to travel by' a vehicle like a bus or train. Unlike 就座 (jiù zuò), which is a formal, written way to say 'take a seat' (e.g. at a ceremony), 坐 is the casual spoken word for sitting anywhere.
