Definition
均衡 (jūn héng) means 'balanced, in equilibrium' and is used for systems, distributions, or forces that are evenly matched. It is more formal and abstract than 平衡 (píng héng), which also works as a verb ('to balance') and is more common in everyday speech for physical balance or general equilibrium. 均衡 often appears in fixed expressions like 均衡发展 (balanced development) or 营养均衡 (balanced nutrition).
