回身 is a separable verb (离合词) meaning 'to turn around (one's body)'. The verb 回 and the object 身 can be separated by inserting particles like 了, 过, or measure words between them, e.g., 回了身 ('turned around'), 回过身 ('have turned around'). You cannot put a direct object after 回身; instead, use 把 or a prepositional phrase if needed.
