商榷 is a formal verb used in academic or intellectual contexts to mean 'deliberate, discuss, or debate', often with an implication of questioning or challenging a viewpoint. It is not used in casual conversation — you would use 讨论 or 商量 instead. A common phrase is 值得商榷 ('open to question / debatable').
