商场 (shāng chǎng) is a large indoor shopping mall or department store — think of a multi-story building with many shops. It's bigger than a single 商店 (shāng diàn 'store, shop'), and more modern and enclosed than 市场 (shì chǎng 'market'), which can be an open-air market or an abstract market (e.g. job market).
