Definition
哪儿 (nǎr) is the everyday, colloquial word for 'where?' — slightly more casual than 哪里 (nǎ lǐ). Don't confuse it with 那儿 (nàr) 'there'; they differ only in tone. Used with 都 (dōu), it means 'everywhere'; in rhetorical questions, it means 'how could...?'
