Definition
呈递 is a formal verb used for submitting documents, petitions, or credentials in official or diplomatic contexts. It is more elevated in register than 提交 or 递交 — you see it in news reports about ambassadors presenting their credentials (呈递国书) or citizens submitting a formal petition to an authority. Use it when the situation calls for a solemn, one-directional handover of paperwork.
