后藏 (Hòu Zàng) refers to the western part of the historical Tibetan region, known as Tsang (藏). It is traditionally paired with 前藏 (Qián Zàng, the eastern Ü region), together forming the core of cultural Tibet (卫藏 Ü-Tsang).
