Definition
同喜 is a polite formulaic response to congratulations, commonly used on festive occasions like Chinese New Year or weddings. When someone says 恭喜 (gōngxǐ, 'congratulations') to you, you reply 同喜 to return the goodwill — it literally means 'shared joy' and functions like 'thank you, and the same to you'. It is a fixed expression (f.e.) and should be used as a complete reply, not modified.
f.e.
thank youand the same to you (polite response to congratulations)
