Definition
各位 (gè wèi) is a polite, formal way to say 'everyone' when directly addressing a group, such as in a speech or announcement. It is more respectful than the everyday 大家 (dà jiā) and less archaic than 诸位 (zhū wèi). Use it to show respect to your audience.
