Definition
叽里咕噜 is an onomatopoeia that describes the sound of low, continuous murmuring or mumbling, as when someone talks indistinctly, or the gurgling sound of a stomach. It can also be written as 叽哩咕噜 (jī lǐ gū lū). You use it with 的 to modify verbs or as a standalone description of sound.
