可笑 (kě xiào) means 'ridiculous, laughable' and often carries a critical or dismissive tone — something so foolish or absurd it deserves mockery. It is stronger and more negative than 好笑 (hǎo xiào), which simply means 'funny, amusing' without judgment. Compared to 荒谬 (huāng miù 'absurd'), 可笑 focuses on the reaction of laughter rather than logical contradiction.
