Definition
可恶 (kě wù) expresses strong moral disgust — 'hateful, abominable' — for actions or people that provoke repulsion. It's more intensely personal than 恶劣 (è liè), which describes conditions or attitude, and broader than 卑鄙 (bēi bǐ), which zeroes in on meanness and underhandedness.
