Definition
句 (jù) is the classifier used to count sentences, lines of verse, or short phrases (e.g., 一句话 'one sentence'). It is different from the noun 句子 (jù zi), which means 'sentence' itself, and from 章 (zhāng), the classifier for chapters or larger sections.
