Definition
口音 (kǒu yīn) refers to a regional accent or the quality of a person's voice. For accent, it differs from 方言 (fāng yán 'dialect'), which describes a complete language variety. For voice, it is broader than 嗓音 (sǎng yīn), which focuses on the physical sound of the voice.
