受冻 is a separable verb (离合词) meaning 'to suffer from cold' or 'to be exposed to cold'. The verb 受 ('to suffer/endure') and the noun 冻 ('cold/frost') can split when inserting duration, frequency, or other complements — e.g., 受过一次冻 ('suffered from cold once').
