反抗 (fǎnkàng) means to actively resist or rebel against authority or oppression. It is broader than 抵抗 (dǐkàng), which emphasizes physical withstanding, and 抗拒 (kàngjù), which focuses on refusing or defying. Unlike 叛逆 (pànnì), which describes a rebellious attitude, 反抗 implies direct action.
