Definition
厮混 is a colloquial yet literary verb that describes aimlessly hanging out with others, often in idle or unsavory activities. It carries a derogatory tone — you can use it to criticize someone for spending time with disreputable people or wasting time. It's different from 一起玩 ('play together') because of this negative judgment. In rare contexts, it also means 'to cause disorder in a group,' but that usage is much less common.
v.
(derogatory) to hang out aimlessly and engage in idle or improper activities together
