Definition
动心 is a separable verb (离合词) that means 'to be interested or tempted (by someone/something)' or 'to have one's heart stirred.' It always involves an emotional or romantic attraction, or a strong interest in an opportunity. Because it's a v.o. (verb-object) compound, you can insert aspect markers like 了, 过, or 起 between the two characters, e.g. 动过心 ('was once tempted') or 动起了心 ('became attracted'). The object of attraction is typically introduced with the preposition 对 before the compound: 对某人动心.
