务实 (wù shí) describes a pragmatic attitude that focuses on concrete results rather than theory or appearances. It is more about a mindset or approach than 实际 (shí jì), which can also mean 'reality' as a noun, or 现实 (xiàn shí), which often carries a negative sense of being overly materialistic. 务实 is positive and commonly used for policies, work styles, and people.
