刮宫 (guā gōng) is a medical term for a dilation and curettage (D&C), a common gynecological procedure. It is a separable verb (离合词): the verb 刮 can separate from the object 宫 when adding measure words, duration, or other complements — for example, 刮了一次宫 (had one D&C) or 刮完宫后 (after the D&C was done). You can also use it unsplit: 她要刮宫 (she is going to have a D&C).
