Definition
切题 is a separable verb (离合词) meaning 'to stay on topic' or 'to be relevant'. The verb 切 can separate from 题 when adding negation, aspect, or duration: 切不题 ('doesn't fit the topic'), 切了题 ('became on-topic'). You often use it in 不切题 ('irrelevant') or after 很 (很切题, 'very relevant').
