Definition
分 (fēn) is a classifier used for minutes when telling time (e.g., 三点五分 '3:05'). It differs from 分钟 (fēn zhōng), which measures duration (e.g., 五分钟 'five minutes'). 分 also means 'cent' (money) and 'point' (score).
