分贝 (fēn bèi) is a measure word (classifier) for sound intensity, equivalent to the decibel (dB) in English. You use it with a number to describe how loud a sound is — for example, 60分贝 is normal conversation, 120分贝 is the threshold of pain. It's a technical unit but common in everyday contexts like noise complaints, music volume, and hearing safety.
