Definition
出去 (chū qù) means 'to go out' — moving from inside to outside. It's different from 出 (chū), which is more general and often part of other phrases, and from 出门 (chū mén), which specifically means leaving home or going through the door. 出去 is the everyday, directional verb pair for leaving any enclosed space.
