Definition
冲突 (chōng tū) is the general word for 'to conflict, to clash' — used for opinions, schedules, colors, interests. It is broader than 碰撞 (pèng zhuàng, physical or cultural collision) and 抵触 (dǐ chù, contradicting rules/feelings). 冲撞 (chōng zhuàng) adds a sense of physical bumping or offending someone.
