Definition
入味 is a stative verb that literally means 'the flavor has entered (the food)' — it describes food that is well-seasoned and tasty. It can also extend to activities or experiences, meaning 'interesting' or 'engrossing', as in the activity becomes more engaging. The figurative sense is commonly used with 越来越 (more and more), like 越来越入味. Note that the subject changes: for food, it's the food itself; for activities, it's the activity.
