Definition
俳 (pái) is a bound form (b.f.) that does not function as an independent word. It appears in Chinese literary compounds borrowed from Japanese, most commonly 俳句 (pái jù, 'haiku') and 俳谐 (pái xié, 'comic poetry'). As a bound morpheme, you will only encounter it as part of these or similar terms.
