Definition
修改 is a general verb for making changes to improve or update something (e.g., a document, design). It differs from 改正 (gǎizhèng), which means 'to correct' (fixing errors), and from 修订 (xiūdìng), which is more formal and used for systematic revision of texts, laws, or plans.
