Definition
保驾 is a separable verb (离合词) that originally meant 'to protect the emperor's carriage' but is now used figuratively for escorting or protecting any important person — often with a light, jocular tone. The two syllables can separate when adding a measure word, duration, or object between them, as in 保了一次驾 ('escorted once'). Use it like a transitive verb with the person being protected placed after a preposition like 给 or 替: 给你保驾.
v.o.
to escort or protect (an important person; also used jocularly)
