Definition
保佑 (bǎo yòu) refers to blessing and protection granted by gods, Buddha, or ancestors—a divine safeguard. In contrast, 祝福 (zhù fú) is human well-wishing; people offer 祝福 to each other, but only a higher power can 保佑.
