Definition
俚 is a bound morpheme (b.f.) meaning 'vulgar, unrefined, or local' — it almost never appears alone. You'll only see it inside compound words like 俚语 ('slang, colloquial expressions') and 俚俗 ('vulgar, unrefined'). Unlike the more common word 粗俗 (cūsú), which is a full adjective, 俚 has a narrower, more literary use and is specific to register or locality.
