促成 (cù chéng) means 'to bring about, to facilitate' — it emphasizes successfully causing a desired result through effort or conditions. It is stronger and more outcome-focused than 促使 (cù shǐ), which can also mean 'to prompt/urge someone to act' and doesn't always imply the result was achieved. 促成 is used in formal contexts for agreements, successes, or recoveries.
