Definition
侵略 (qīn lüè) refers specifically to invading a country or territory by armed force, typically in a political/military context. It is more formal and narrower than 入侵 (rù qīn), which can also mean intruding into a system or personal space. Unlike 侵犯 (qīn fàn) (violate rights) or 侵占 (qīn zhàn) (invade and occupy), 侵略 is exclusively about aggressive military incursion.
