Definition
侬 is a pronoun with two distinct uses: in certain Wu dialects (especially Shanghainese) it means 'you', while in classical/literary Chinese it means 'I' or 'me'. Because these senses are strongly tied to region or register, using 侬 in standard Mandarin without context may confuse listeners. It is not part of the common Mandarin pronoun set.
